L I L I T U

I was created by God.
My children have God's wisdom but weak bodies.

For my entire life, I have been searching for something that is irreplaceable.
I imagine it is priceless, authentic, and can’t be reproduced.
Throughout the searching process, I have thought many things were what I was looking for. I had this favorite restaurant in New York, this favorite dress, this favorite sunset, this favorite song, this favorite lover.
Turns out favorites are replaceable.
Turns out everything I can see or touch is replaceable.
So, I imagine this thing I am looking for, must be something I cannot see or touch. After all I am only human, but I am looking for something beyond my ability to recognize.
I feel scared and deeply unsettling. How can I find something I don’t even know how it looks like? Something might not even have a physical form.
Am I allowed to look for it in the first place? I am a strict rule follower. I follow every rule that nature made. I am aware what role human plays in this universe. But just fulfilling my role is dull.
All I want is an answer.

Freedom.
Can it be freedom?
What is freedom? The slogan that made us fight each other, or the excuse of a rebel child, or the tools that give us an “easier” life than the rest of our kind?
Scientists don’t like to analyze substances that cannot be observed. That is an artist’s job.
If it is true that anything we can imagine can be actualized, then freedom must be something beyond human’s imagination.
Can it be an invisible butterfly? Probably not, I already imagined.

Love.
Maybe love?

Love seems like a tricky idea. Throughout history of humankind, we try to define it in all different ways.
In Symposium, Plato wrote, “According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.”

In Asian culture, we imagine love is an invisible red thread that ties on people’s wrists. It connects people together regardless of spacetime. Similar to the mysterious force enables quantum entanglement.
Nikola Tesla once said, “if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” I am now thinking why 432HZ brings us peace.
